The PDR also sponsors a website for which users must register to access the website. The site has a consumer section that provides links to drug information, health news, a medical dictionary, clinical trial information, information about doctors, magazine archives, and a bookstore.

This website is sponsored by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and includes four parts: (1) approved prescription drug products with therapeutic equivalence evaluations, (2) approved over-the-counter medications, (3) drug products that have been approved for research, and (4) a list of approved products that have never been marketed, have been discontinued from marketing, or have had FDA approval withdrawn. This site allows individuals to search drugs by active ingredient and has a section on frequently asked questions. It is an interesting site, but most of the information is of little use to the consumer.
