Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD) is a national non-profit organization representing children and adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). Founded in 1987 by a group of concerned parents, CHADD works to improve the lives of people with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder through education, advocacy, and support.

The Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation (CABF) is a parent-led, not-for-profit, web-based membership organization. CABF was founded by a national steering committee of concerned parents active in BPParents, an Internet support group. CABF incorporated in California on June 16, 1999. Their on-line community includes parents, researchers, medical doctors, neuroscientists, social workers, therapists, civic leaders, teachers, and others. The Professional Advisory Board includes leading experts on bipolar disorder. Site sponsors are charitable organizations, individuals, corporations, and government agencies.
